The Manual Store ("we," "us," or "our") operates themanualstore.com. The Site is owned and operated by AGC Consulting LLC d/b/a The Manual Store, an Iowa limited liability company (registered fictitious name with the Iowa Secretary of State, filing #FT0537075, effective May 11, 2026).

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you visit our website or make a purchase. By using our Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Usage Data — We automatically collect device information including your browser type, IP address, time zone, cookies, pages viewed, referring sites, and how you interact with the site.

Order Information — When you place an order we collect your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information, email address, and phone number. Credit card numbers are processed securely by Shopify Payments and are never stored on our servers.

Order Information — Used to fulfill orders (process payments, arrange shipping, provide invoices and order confirmations), communicate about orders, screen for potential risk or fraud, and provide product information or advertising (only if you have opted in).

Usage Data — Used to improve and optimize the site, assess the success of marketing and advertising campaigns, understand customer behavior, and improve AI-powered features (see AI and Service Improvement section below).

The Manual Store is one of several products operated by AGC Consulting, LLC. Interaction data from your use of our Site — including chat conversations with our AI assistant (Sam), product searches, and similar engagement signals — may be used to improve AI-powered features across our products. This helps us deliver better recommendations, faster customer support, and more accurate manual identification over time.

What we do:

• Use interaction patterns to train and improve our AI models
• Apply lessons learned across The Manual Store and AGC Consulting, LLC's other products and services
• Maintain personally identifying information (name, email, phone number, address) separately from AI training data

What we do NOT do:

• We do not share personal identifiers (name, email, phone, address) with third-party AI providers for model training
• We do not sell or rent your data to third parties for AI training or any other purpose
• We do not allow third-party AI models to be trained on your individually identifiable data

You may request that your interaction data be excluded from AI training. Email sales@themanualstore.com to make this request. Customers in states with applicable privacy laws (including California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, and Texas) may also exercise their right to opt out of automated processing or request deletion via the same contact.

If you choose to opt in to SMS messages from The Manual Store, your participation is governed by our separate SMS Policy. You must affirmatively opt in via the signup form at https://themanualstore.com/sms-policy — providing your phone number at checkout, in our Terms of Service, or in this Privacy Policy does NOT enroll you in SMS messaging. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

When you opt in, you'll receive transactional SMS messages including order confirmations, shipping notifications, delivery updates, and customer service replies. Messages are transactional only — we do not send marketing or promotional texts. Message frequency varies based on order activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for assistance.

Phone numbers collected via the SMS opt-in form are stored securely and used only for the transactional communications described above.
